Vivian Silverstein is a companion animal behaviourist based in Glasgow, Scotland. She owns and runs The Pet Behaviour Centre.
Vivian is also a Coape Association Behaviour Practitioner (CABP) and is also a member of The Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and was an assessor for new member applications.
Working as an expert witness for legal cases that involve dogs has become a regular part of Vivian’s work which includes attendance at courts around Scotland.
The Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme was introduced by the Kennel Club to improve breeder standards. Vivian is a member and has also been inspected and certified by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), giving Chihuahua buyers the confidence of the high standard of producing puppies and the attention to detail given to the care, health and welfare of puppies raised by her.
Vivian wrote the weekly ‘PET PAGE’ in the Daily Record Sunday Mail magazine for more than 8 years and is the author of The Greyhound and Lurcher Training Guide: Getting Started. ISBN 0-9551665-0-0.
She qualified as a British Horse Society Assistant Instructor (B.H.S.A.I.) in 1978.
After a lifelong association with dogs, horses and running various businesses Vivian has acquired many practical skills. However, due to the continual advancement of research, she continues her studies and CPD.
